From 28 to 30 October 2013 Almaty hosted the first international food festival. In the four-day match together the best chefs from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. In competitions Take part both young cooks. The contest was organized by Association of chefs of Kazakhstan.
Kokshetau took part in the chef of the restaurant “Ani” Pogogyne Tatiana, Natalia Ivanova. Among individual participants, the Contest was held in various kategoriach – fish, meat, fitness dishes, pasta and a dish of horse meat for the title of “Best chef of Kazakhstan”
Pogogyne Tatiana brought home the bronze medal in the class “Best chef of Kazakhstan”. For 60 minutes she had to cook dinner, main ingredient which must include a hot dish – horse meat.
Natalia Ivanova took bronze place and brought home a medal of honour from lamb classes the performance deserved, a dish of horse meat.
