National Association of chefs of Kazakhstan is a public organization that unites industry workers the food and hospitality, created in September 2003. The main purpose of its creation – preservation and development national culinary culture, food and hospitality of the Republic, the creation unites the nucleus of an atom and coordination in the field of public power, promoting the profession of chef among young people, the creation of a single information center.

Every year 20 October, the World community of chefs and its members celebrate the international day of the chef. Every year this festival is designated a specific subject, primarily aimed at attracting public attention and increase the prestige of the profession “cook” in the world!

Also, This year marked its theme, namely: PASS IT ON! SHARE WITH EVERYONE!

2014 theme: “SHARE WITH ALL!” aims at strengthening the importance of knowledge and exchange of experience, skills, open approach – as one of the key elements in achieving sustainable development and preservation of culinary heritage. The idea of topics, chefs of all ages and levels were designed around the world to share their knowledge and know-how in the field of culinary community as a whole impact on the sustainable development of society and the important role they play as mentors, “legislators” culinary fashion, humanitarian “pioneer village” at the world level.

“Each of us can contribute to the development and promotion of classic culinary art of the chefs – it can be done through transferring knowledge and charity work at the local level, for example meeting with young people, with children, visiting children’s homes, cooks our mission is to give smiles and good mood to people. Every year this festival brings together more than 10 million chefs worldwide! October 20 is the day to share with others their love and passion for their profession and this is your to kindle this love in their hearts!

It is also a day when we recognize the important role played in the society of the cooks, which is a great responsibility, not only to feed but also to give food for thought!

The culinary Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan Since 2004 he works for the development of the industry of catering and hospitality. During the period of its existence, we have implemented many social projects: contest “young chef” among children of primary school age, the annual children’s drawing contest dedicated to the day of the cook, the project for teaching children with hearing impairments and lack of profession “cook” with financial support of PF “Bota”, a culinary competition among students of professional colleges.

There are many social problems, the solution of which may contribute to the Association. The program over which we work now is a program to improve the nutrition of children in secondary schools Kokshetau “children’s Health”.

In 2017 Astana will host the Grand event the EXPO. This is a significant event in the tourism industry and hospitality as Astana and Kazakhstan in General. Preparing for such a big event has begun already. August 22, 2013 a Major American company Horwath HTL Astana organized a workshop on the development of a Master plan for the development of the tourism industry regions the subject of EXPO-2017, which was attended by the culinary Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The seminar was initiated by the Department of investment policy and tourism resources in the tourism industry Committee of MINT RK. In its framework was considered the most attractive regions such as Astana and Akmola region, Almaty and Almaty oblast, Ust-Kamenogorsk and East Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan region, the location of the silk road, and Caspian coastal zone Aktau.

The time was obviously not enough and there were many Questions, for their detailed consideration, so the seminar was conducted mainly in Astana and Akmola region. At the moment it is the most developing region of the country, with the most promising and interesting projects. The main objective pursued by all participants, is the need for the creation and preparation of projects dedicated to “EXPO-2017”, knew and showed serious attention to the current question is rather opening prospects of this project.

The workshop participants shared their thoughts on needed projects that would be interesting to build in Astana, one of them is the construction of the dome project with real sea water, sand and year-round indoor climate, maximum simulates the beach.

From 28 to 30 October 2013 Almaty hosted the first international food festival. In the four-day match together the best chefs from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Kokshetau took part in the chef of the restaurant “Ani” Pogogyne Tatiana, Natalia Ivanova. Among individual participants, the Contest was held in various kategoriach – fish, meat, fitness dishes, pasta and a dish of horse meat for the title of “Best chef of Kazakhstan”

Natalia Ivanova took bronze place and brought home a medal of honour from lamb classes the performance deserved, a dish of horse meat.

Participated in the team competition category R, practical class with wine tasting (dinner consisting of three courses, design and layout). And in Art class: Category ” D ” (of food).
In the team competition were from the national thematic table on “the Greatness of a country in the hands of the young”, and national Kazakh cuisine: cold appetizer, poultry and vegetables, besbarmak, khymyz, baursaks, desserts with cheese, three kinds of sauces.

In the team competition were 15 teams from Nevinnomyssk, Mineral waters, Kislovodsk, North Caucasus Federal University, Togliatti, Russia, the Urals, the don College classic culinary arts, Nizhny Tagil, Ekaterinburg, Azerbaijan, Alanya, Samara, Republic of Kazakhstan in Kokshetau.
By results of competitions the team of the KSU “Building and technical College №1 in Kokshetau city” was awarded the “Grand Prix” of the head of the city – resort of Kislovodsk N. B.Lutsenko, handmade Cup, diploma and medals for all team members.
